I bring a knowledge of family systems thinking to broaden your understanding of the challenges experienced in your social, emotional, and physical functioning, as they are opportunities to evolve and increase our Best Self. One aspect of my role is to challenge automatic thinking and perceptions to promote better thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making by developing: a broader way of thinking about and solving relationship problems, ways of managing Self in anxious situations, principles that can guide you in your actions. Taking responsibility for self is the place to begin.
Unique to my practice is neurofeedback training (NFB), offered as a stand-alone service or in conjunction with consultations. It addresses myriad symptoms (ex. sleep, anxiety/mood, attention/focus) by teaching the brain/physiology to better self-regulate. Clients report rapid decrease in stress/anxiety, better sleep, improved academic & athletic performance.
NFB is useful at any age in reducing emotional reactiveness and in promoting more productive thinking. It can help you unlock your neural potential, with minimal effort and maximum efficiency. When you manage your mind, you manage your life. NOTE: I work with children for NFB only.
