One aspect of my role is challenging automatic thinking and perceptions to promote flexible thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making. One can develop a broader way of thinking about and solving relationship problems, ways of managing Self in anxious situations, principles that can guide you in your actions. Taking responsibility for self is the place to begin.
Unique to my practice is neurofeedback training (NFB), offered as a stand-alone service or in conjunction with consultations. It addresses myriad symptoms (ex. sleep, anxiety/mood, attention/focus) by teaching the brain/physiology to better self-regulate. Clients report rapid decrease in stress/anxiety, better sleep, improved academic & athletic performance.
NFB is useful at any age in increasing self-regulation and promoting more productive thinking. It can help you unlock your neural potential, with minimal effort and maximum efficiency. When you manage your mind, you manage your life. NOTE: Children are ONLY seen for NFB.
