I have been in practice for many years focusing on using techniques like EMDR and hypnosis that help my clients move through their issues more quickly than using talk therapy alone. Anxiety is one of my specialties. It is often connected with depression, grief, and addictions. Those are also areas I have a great many years of experience in working with. I have recently become a Medicare provider because I can relate to the many issues that come with aging.
Anxiety involves current events experienced as unpredictabile, events being out of control, and touching into past hurts and losses. Identifying ways to create more predictability, accepting that some things are unpredictable, and healing issues from the past can be one part of lessening anxiety. EMDR can be very helpful.
Having been in practice for many years I have the experience of seeing people move through their lives in many different cycles. This has led to an awareness of the importance of healing and learning coping skills during each life cycle for a greater ability to move more easily through the life issues that follow.
