In searching for a psychotherapist, it is likely that you have a specific problem in mind. Characteristically non-judgmental and empathic, I create an environment in which the client/patient feels safe and able to confront painful material. The client/patient and I form a partnership to follow a path towards deeper understanding of the self which leads to greater freedom of choice and self-contentment.
Secondly, having accumulated experience working with three orientations, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral and behavioral, I am able to integrate these approaches in my practice. Through my work at a rehabilitation hospital, I have gained experience working with the medically ill, those caring for family members with an illness and the bereaved.
