Donna Smith Sharff, MA, LMHC, Counselor in Arlington
The one thing you can count on is change. Whether you're facing the loss of relationship, the death of a significant person, health challenges or an "ordinary" life cycle transition, you or your child(ren) may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, confused or stuck. It helps to have a space and relationship where you can explore your current situation and get support in moving forward with clarity and confidence. I have experience working with children, teens and adults dealing with divorce, death, illness and other life transitions as well as adults coping with the challenges of living with ADHD.
I have more than fifteen years of experience working with individuals and groups. I focus on your strengths and join you to imagine possiblities and support action. The relationship between therapist and client is unique and important. I offer a free initial 30 minute meeting to help you make an informed decision.
I have more than 20 years of personal experience with mindfulness practice and I utilize mindfulness and creative expression practices in my work with children, teens and adults. I believe that laughter and play are important to health and wellbeing and I bring appropriate humor into my work with clients.
