I practice from a strength-based philosophy. I believe people have the ability to find healthier approaches to living life and healing from mental health challenges. I believe healthy attachment is primary in parenting and family therapy. I am focused on assisting those who are experiencing challenges such as loss, chronic or acute illness, relationship issues, stress, family concerns, parenting for all ages and symptoms of depression and anxiety. I bring decades of experience as a mental health counselor to this work. I hope you will consider me as an ally in your healing journey.
I have counseled families with young children. I have also worked with teenagers at a local high school, often with their parents. I worked with children and families of all ages at an agency for years. I have also worked with adults with a mental health diagnosis, victims of domestic violence and vulnerable populations.
