About
After 35 years of experience, I approach life and therapy with a sense of humor, creativity and evidence based practices. Most clients report that I am easy to talk to and put people at ease. I enjoy challenges and exploring mind-body-spirit using ACT, CBT and EMDR. Complex issues are interesting to me along with normal life transitions, depression, anxiety and trauma. I welcome working with high school students, young adults, and adult individuals and couples of any age. My office or virtual office is a safe place to explore diversity of all kinds including LGBTQIA+ , disability and culture
My goal is to create personalized treatment designed specifically for you. Long experience means that I can offer a variety of paths to change. Empathy, problem solving, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindful Self Compassion, and EMDR for trauma resolution represent a few therapies that I offer. Please call or email with any questions.
Reaching out for help is difficult. You deserve a warm and compassionate response so that you feel safe and at ease. I want to collaborate with you to develop a plan that meets your goals and increases your self knowledge and awareness. We will find the answers together. Change is inevitable. Making peace with life and managing challenges is possible.
