Welcome! Are you struggling with personal or relationship problems? Do you find yourself wishing your life was different? Do you have difficulty finding the courage to make a change or uncertain what you want? I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) providing therapy to adults, couples, and families. My style is warm, direct, and grounded in the belief that people grow best when they feel supported and also gently challenged.
My approach to therapy
I tailor treatment to each client's needs, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, family systems theory, and psychodynamic approaches.
I work with individuals and couples to identify the change they desire and together we come up with a plan to reach their goals. Change is never easy even when we want it. I will provide a supportive and accepting environment to navigate the process.
Everyone has feelings. It's normal to feel angry sometimes. It can be difficult to identify and communicate feelings in a productive and healthy manner. This can affect a person's relationships as well as their self esteem negatively. We can learn to process our feelings and communicate more effectively. I am here to help.
