I have an exclusive adult private practice. I have been counseling for over 25 years. I specialize in treating Senior Adults, especially those who are retired and are experiencing adjustment issues regarding this "change of life" season. I have a great deal of experience helping adults who are experiencing major health problems as well as caring for family members who have significant health issues.
In my practice, I counsel individuals with various concerns, such as: anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship issues, divorce recovery, and co-dependency.
I specialize in working with older adult women and men and the variety of issues that impact them. I provide a practical approach utilizing proven strategies to help clients improve their lives. I often utilize Genograms, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness techniques. I collaborate with clients to work on goals that they identify as important.
I really enjoy getting to know each client and who they are as a person. Relationship building is important so that we can mutually work together on issues that clients identify as needing assistance.
