Donna Dallal-Ferne
Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT
People seek therapy because of the challenges that come to them through times of transition. If you want to focus on healing without having to worry about a third party monitoring your personal struggles and demanding a diagnosis, I am happy to partner with you directly, creating terms that we negotiate together. Healing is likely the most important task that you'll tend to in your adult life. I will guide you in that process without pathologizing or labeling you. Becoming the fullest expression of yourself is a worthwhile and deeply personal task, not to be compromised by political systems.
As a family therapist, I work with individual, couples, families, and other relationships. I have a depth of understanding and experience in working with people through the transitions that grief demands, and with trauma. I am IFS trained, and will help you come to greater understandings of your inner landscape.
I view my clients through a trauma sensitive lens. As a yoga instructor and massage therapist, I see my clients more comprehensively, not just as individuals communicating their pain and difficulties with words, but in their fullness as spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual beings living full lives on many levels.
