I specialize in trauma resolution (using EMDR and Flash Technique), managing anxiety/stress, personalizing interventions to improve school experiences, and improving family dynamics.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. I completed my EMDR training in 2016. If suitable for my client, I will use it to treat PTSD, complicated grief, phobias, and memories of sexual/physical abuse.
Although my specialty area is trauma resolution, I have experience and a strong interest in working with and supporting folks who are on the autistic spectrum or otherwise “neurospicy”. As an LMFT, I’m not qualified to conduct formal assessments, but I can provide resources and support.
