Dr. Donato Vaccaro is a Psychologist in New York who has been licensed since 1987. Dr. Vaccaro received an M.S. degree in Behavioral Therapy from Adelphi University and also earned a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Adelphi University. This combination of training in research and practice has enabled him to be focused on evidence-based treatment approaches. He interned at the Behavioral Medicine Clinic at the Franklin General/Northwell Health in New York and was a postdoctoral fellow in psychotherapy research at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
Dr. Vaccaro delivers cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments to adult clients with emotional, behavioral, and adjustment problems, such as anxiety, stress, depression, and relationship problems. Dr. Vaccaro finds it gratifying to offer CBT services to clients.
He has had the privilege of witnessing transformations using CBT in clients with stress management, depression, anxiety disorders, career issues, and wellness. He is eager to apply his experience and compassion with clients as they aim to address issues that will help them to improve their quality of life and attain a sense of fulfillment.
