My name is Brigid, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals build awareness and empower themselves in their mental health journey. I work virtually with clients aged 18 and older, specializing in areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, severe mental illness, emotional regulation, suicidal prevention, and grief/loss. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can freely express themselves and explore their emotions. My counseling approach is collaborative, strength-based, and solution-focused.
I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness techniques, and Internal Family Systems as part of my approach. I am also trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) which can be helpful to address a variety of different mental health issues.
My approach is based on each client’s unique needs and preferences, ensuring that treatment plans are realistic and aligned with their goals. Prioritizing mental health takes courage, and I am honored to walk alongside clients as they navigate their path to healing and personal growth.
