About
I provide a safe place for individuals and couples to work through feelings about relationships, life transitions and adjustments, grief and loss, health problems, workplace challenges, spirituality and recovery issues. I help people cultivate insight and coping tools to navigate life's struggles with more confidence and grace.
I treat adults coping with life stress, anxiety and depression, relationship issues, bereavement, change and loss, 12 step spirituality and personal recovery issues. I combine therapeutic approaches best tailored to individuals unique personalities and needs, including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Attachment Based Approaches, Mindfuness and Person-Centered Therapies.
My background as an artist, gardener, lover of animals and nature gives me a unique ability to connect with people in a creative and nurturing way to support personal growth, emotional healing, and greater capacity for meaningful relationships. I am a seasoned therapist, having lived through many challenging life experiences of my own that make me aware and adept at navigating through pain and suffering. My goal is to provide a comfortable relationship where people can share with confidence that they will be heard and validated while being given tools to cope.
