About
With 35 years of experience in the helping professions, I've become very familiar with many aspects of the mental health field. I will work with clients willing to take responsibility for their own mental health and coach them through the sometimes long and ardrous process of embracing true mental health. I build on clients strengths and partner with the client to address problems head-on. I don't focus on diagnosis, but prefer to see each person as an individual capable of overcoming problems and reaching his or her goals and potential. I work with the person as a whole person - spirit soul and body.
I specialize in dealing with addictions, men's issues, Veteran issues, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Stage-of-Life transitions and Geriatrics. I specialize in building on the strengths of each individual, and maximizing their quality of life through embracing their God-given potential.
I offer telephone and telehealth counseling as a normal part of my ongoing practice. This allows clients to work from home, and gives out-of-area clients an opportunity to receive my services.
