Human connection is the first constant in any therapeutic change. Therefore, my work is aimed at first creating a collaborative process focused on building a therapeutic relationship with the shared goals of achieving your vision for a meaningful life. It is my job to work with you to build on your considerable strengths and assets to create new ways of coping and growing. Often, traumatic experiences and difficulties have left us struggling to realize that vision. We will explore the effects that experiences have on your life today, and work toward a present and future that keeps
the past in perspective and uses it as a helpful tool toward meeting our life challenges with strength and with the tools to change. If indicated, and with the client’s informed consent, I use hypnotherapy as a tool to access the unconscious mind’s healing ability. We know that the part of the mind that is below the conscious level (known as the unconscious,
or subconscious mind), is where many of our feelings, and reactions that surface in our lives are housed, and where they can be healed. I am certified in Heart Centered Hypnotherapy. A therapeutic approach that incorporates your adult self, to explore and heal the trauma and pain that may have led to struggles that you are facing in your life today.
