It is a brave choice to take this first step towards healing. I am here to provide a space free of judgment where you will be free to explore and learn how to tackle any issue you are facing. I enjoy working with people through all walks of life. I have a warm, nurturing style, balanced with a dynamic approach to therapy. Some of my experience includes working with adolescents in crisis, children and adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), first responders, veterans, and those who identify with LGBTQ.
My goal is to create a safe space of healing and growth. My training in EMDR and Attachment Theory allows me to see life's issues through the lens of trauma. I will be by your side as we investigate the root cause of life's struggles. My foundational training in DBT gives me the knowledge to teach you skills for symptom management along the way.
I believe in the power of showing up as your authentic self. Life is messy and when we take the time to sort through that mess, we can find the beauty in our vulnerability. In my opinion, Albus Dumbledore said it best: "Understanding is the first step to acceptance, and only with acceptance can there be recovery."
