About
Dominique Sansbury is a nationally certified and licensed graduate professional counselor. She earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology – Washington, DC, and a master’s in Nutrition Education from American University.
I believe healing is a process that has many stages such as alleviating symptoms of emotional distress (anxiety or depression), awareness, intention, and action. In our lifetime, we will go through this process many times. At whichever stage you may be in this process, I assist my clients in gaining more fulfillment through empowerment.
My approach is holistic and based in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My mission is to help individuals use challenges as insight and opportunity for growth and evolution. To schedule a consultation, visit www.onknwing.org and access my schedule/availability at the link at the bottom of the therapeutic services page.
