Hello! My practice focuses on supporting folks who are moving through grief & loss and I specialize in pregnancy, infant or child loss. I am also certified in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International. In addition to having experience supporting folks moving through a variety of human losses,I also have experience supporting folks moving through grief that often goes unacknowledged or unvalidated by society like; the change in relationship with a loved one battling dementia, loss of identity when entering motherhood or loss of connection with a spouse after experiencing a pregnancy or infant loss and many more.
When working with me, you can expect someone who holds space for you to speak authentically, someone who will not tell you that everything happens for a reason or to look for a silver lining and you can expect someone to treat you like your loss or losses truly matter.Even though we all experience loss, your loss and feelings are just as important and valid.
During my time as a clinician,I have taken many trainings, but the most valuable thing I’ve ever learned is the importance of the human connection, trust and truly listening. I’ve also found that laughter and sometimes swearing helps too. So,if you’ve read this far, I know loss can be lonely and messy, but just know you aren’t alone. I am here and you matter.
