My name is Dominick Haber, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor who focuses on individual and family therapy. My practice is a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I focus on identifying thought patterns, behaviors, or emotions that connect and create negative patterns in our lives, and work to reframe, restructure, or replace those things with more effective or positive ones. Reframing is very important, as part of ACT I work to help others accept what we don't like while still working towards what we want.
I work with individuals and families of all ages. I specialize in neurodiversity, LGTBQIA2S+ individuals, and working with anxiety, depression, and previous traumas.
I am very conversational, and while I flip between clinical and casual speech, I maintain professional standards and treat all clients with open respect and kindness. While I will challenge or confront clients, I never approach it from a negative mindset.
