Depression is a monster. In the majority of cases, anxiety co-exists with depression making it even more debilitating for the individual. While there may be similarities in stories, each person's experience is very unique. That is why it is critical to work with the uniqueness of each person's experience to create the desired outcome of having joy and peace again in life. I've worked with people from a variety of employment settings who initially found it difficult to come to therapy but were so thankful that they did. I've seen lives completely turn around. I take a Cognitive-Behavioral approach to therapy which helps individuals understand how their thoughts lead to certain feelings which in turn lead to certain behaviors. It is an evidence-based treatment approach with positive outcomes. Whether you are struggling with emotions, trauma, relationships, or your job, create your desired results. Succeed!
In addition to having a private practice, I've work in management positions at hospitals where I've created evidence-based programs that treat a variety of psychological issues.
