I believe in the healing power of safe relationships. I believe this because I have experienced being healed through therapeutic relationships. So many of us face the daily pain of being wounded by others, losing people we love, divorce, hating ourselves, feeling ashamed, alone, confused, or numb. We go to great lengths to manage the pain or anxiety we experience and often make wrecks of our lives and those around us. I work with all kinds of individuals experiencing things like depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and a loss of self. I use Internal Family Systems and am Level 1 certified. I have significant experience working with children with behavioral problems through play therapy and family therapy.

My practice can bill for Blue Cross Blue Shield and select other insurance providers. We offer a sliding scale for self-pay clients. I work in close connection with the other therapists in my office and feel extremely comfortable referring clients within my office.

Founded in 1981, The Shepherd's Staff is dedicated to spiritual ideals, although we are not affiliated with any particular faith community. The therapists of The Shepherd's Staff include Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists, a Licensed Professional Art Therapist, and a Licensed Social Worker. Therapists have extensive clinical experience in individual, marital, and family therapy and adhere to the highest professional and ethical standards. Therapist hours vary, with evening appointments available upon request.
