The clients that I typically encounter are looking to make a change that will create a better life environment for themselves and those that love them. I have extensive experience working with both men and women who struggle with addictive use disorders and trauma. I am also experienced in anxiety, depression, grief and high conflict relationships. I tend to use EMDR in connection with DBT, CBT and somatic techniques in therapy sessions.
The therapeutic experience to me should be one of personal growth and gaining of insight into one's strengths and weakness. It is important to learn from yesterday and how that impacts our today to build a better tomorrow. I will meet you where you are in your journey. I also believe laughter and joy should be a part of the process!
