Sara’s passion and focus in counseling is grief and loss. She is an activate member of the Association of Death Education and Counseling and is a firm believer that grief is a common experience that binds us together in life. Sara has worked with a wide array of populations from geriatric, college students, homeless, perinatal loss, and adolescents.

Play and art are very helpful with children since play is the natural language of the child. I work with all ages in groups, families or individuals. Lee Mauney MS LPC (TN,AR) (Last name pronounced, “Mooney”) I am a Licensed Professional Counselor of (L.P.C.) with over 30 years of experience working many cultures in multiple settings. I believe in helping clients to find one’s own internal healer, to rediscover their inner strengths, and empowering them to improve their mental balance while helping them clarifying their existential journey. My therapeutic focus is client centered with an emphasis on educating clients to improve their lives through empowerment to become independent and continue their inner growth.

I specialize in Equine Therapy as well as traditional office psychotherapy. I take a mindfulness approach to "holding space" for my clients. I also recently completed an externship and Core Skills in Emotion Focused Therapy which allows me to do some pretty tough work with couples seeking joint therapy. I am also undergoing supervision for Trauma Focused CBT.

Marsha Sproling is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides therapy to adolescents and adults using a client- centered, eclectic approach tailored to the unique needs of each client. Preferred treatment approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Supportive therapy, EMDR, Integrative Sandtray Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I believes that change happens when people are given the support needed to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential to live a fulfilling, happy life. I have over 13 years experience in a variety of settings with diverse clients providing both long term and brief treatment.

I live and work in the River Valley. Formerly a safety engineer in Chicago, I later trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist in The Canadian Rockies. I’ve been practicing for over 14 years and provide a Christ-centered approach to therapy. I have over 8000 hours of experience with youth issues. I enjoy working with couples and families, helping people fall in love again. I have helped many people work through loss, trauma and, also trained in and advanced trauma techniques using EMDR therapy. I have seen many clients with sexual issues. I have experience working with children and adults with autism and dyslexia.

Leslie provides person-centered, affirmative, yet directive psychotherapy for individuals and couples. She helps clients recognize and work through the “unfinished business” that sustains ineffective coping patterns. Clients learn to identify and respect negative coping strategies, as they were at one time necessary for life’s navigation. Through mindfulness and self-care, clients are empowered to practice new habits, improve interpersonal skills, and attain and sustain mutually nurturing relationships. Leslie specializes in trauma focused therapy where she guides adults through the process of healing from childhood abuse.

Pam Giardina, LCSW, comes with thirty years of experience working with children and families facing stress. She spent twenty-five years as a Child Life Specialist at Arkansas Children's Hospital helping children and families cope with trauma, hospitalization, surgical procedures, and chronic illnesses. Obtaining a masters degree in social work was a way to develop and utilize her extensive experience outside of the acute care environment. She now uses evidenced-based therapies to help children, adults, and families with trauma including sexual abuse, physical abuse, life-changing accidents, and death.

I work with kids (ages 10 & up), teens, & adults to overcome life's challenges from the past and present. This includes things such as anxiety, self-harm & depression, relational struggles, abuse & trauma recovery, grief, self-image, and sexuality issues. I welcome clients of all sexual orientations, gender identities, levels of romantic/sexual interest, body shapes & sizes, and relational dynamics as well as ethnicities & spiritual beliefs in the fullness of who they are.
