My therapeutic approach is adapted based on the client's needs and social systems. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and families, being mindful of change occurring within the individual and family dynamic. I collaborate with schools, families, doctors, and other sources to assist in advocating for my client's needs. My level of expertise includes individual, group, and family therapy. I implement mindfulness, assertiveness training, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and other methods to address substance dependence/abuse, anxiety, trauma, depression, and other emotional and behavior problem areas. I have specialized in bullying and self-esteem with adolescents.

We are all on a journey of some sort, whether it is one of healing, new beginnings, pleasure, or life transition. Sometimes we encounter storms and obstacles that shake us and may make us feel as if we are lost or maybe incapable of overcoming the storm. These storms may be recognized as anxiety, depression, loss of a loved one, job or home. Creating therapeutic trust and emotional safety are two of my greatest strengths in my practice. I have over 15 years experience working in an array of settings, including community mental health, school settings, group homes, residential treatment, outpatient settings, correctional facilities, and private practice. I work with children, adolescents and adults providing individual, group, family and couple’s therapy, as well as psychological assessments. I have experience working with a variety of clientele.

Nikole is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a credentialed clinician with NBCC. She has a passion and heart for mental and behavioral health. It is her desire to be able to provide a safe environment for her clients and families by helping them feel empowered through the therapeutic process. Nikole assists her clients' by teaching and providing tools and focusing on relational & client centered approaches. In doing so, her hope for her clients is that they will have a progressive successful, healthy, and whole self. She treats a wide variety of behavioral and mental health needs both for adults, children and marriage/families.
