I am very passionate about suicide education and response, as well as working with those who have experienced sexual trauma and domestic violence, among others. I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of trauma survivors of all ages. My approach to therapy is eclectic and involves multiple perspectives and techniques depending on what works for you.

While I work with many different issues, my greatest passion and experience are in working with teens and their parents, and helping people find freedom from the chains of addiction. I also work with many couples, and with men who are struggling to find their way in life. As a Christian counselor, I do my best to help my clients find peace and healing in their relationship with a loving God, without being preachy or pushing any kind of religious agenda. Put simply, I want to help others find hope and healing.

I am the co-owner of Family Therapy Clinic of Louisiana, LLC. I have over 28 years of clinical experience, providing a variety of services including psychological assessment, cognitive-behavioral treatments, and medication management. Although I treat a number of clinical conditions, I specialize in working with anxiety-based disorders including OCD, PTSD, and performance anxiety issues. I have worked with hundreds of athletes, and provided psychological services for LSU's Athletic Department over a period of 17 years. I am also licensed as a Medical Psychologist and manage medications for a variety of treatment issues.

I am a trauma survivor therapist. My areas of specialty are PTSD, complex childhood trauma issues, relational trauma, treatment for survivors of abusive relationships with narcissistic partners, parents or children, family estrangement, Parental Alienation, psychological support during psych med withdrawal, Akathisia, hopelessness, depression and suicidal ideation, loneliness, abandonment, isolation.
