I'm a licensed social worker based in Ohio, and I hold a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Cincinnati, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Kentucky. In my most recent job, I have found that domestic violence survivors and women who experience issues specific to being a woman have piqued my interest. I have been in the counseling and psychiatric field for over 40 years and continue to help clients with issues ranging from individual , marital, or family issues to problems with stress, anxiety, and depression from biological or other causes . I also specialize in treating childhood abuse , ADD/HD , Dissociative Identity Disorder,and chemical dependency. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR and Clinical Hypnosis are among the approachs I incorporate.

Margaret Josephson Rinck, Ed.D. specializes in helping people with depression, anxiety, addiction, abuse and codependency. In 2009 she was honored with the "Be The Scream" award, given by Connections: A Safe Place, in recognition of her lifetime work with childhood sexual abuse victims. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, and Gordon College, Dr. Rinck is an author, psychologist, and a retired college professor. One of her new offerings is "Intensives" which are 2-3 day treatment programs, for those who need deeper treatment in a short time.

No matter the circumstances, the facts remain the same: our bodies are designed to keep us safe and reduce discomfort.
