About
Are you a multicultural couple wanting to set boundaries, discuss power and privilege, and improve communication; a Black woman professional overwhelmed by stress and trauma; a young adult desiring to develop your racial identity? I look forward to joining you on the path towards greater understanding and acceptance. My mental health and wellness approach centers on compassionate collaboration and direct truth-telling, and much of our work will challenge traditional ways of existing and relating. I value empathy, justice, and racial equity and believe in owning the impact of our words and actions rather than our intentions.
Together with clarity and courage, we can identify your values and communication style, become more mindful, listen to your body, build clear boundaries, explore your ancestry's significance, and care for your soul deeply. Additionally, you can learn to accept how your community sees, hears, and experiences you.
As a therapist with Well-Play Counseling & Well-Being Center, I can hold equitable space for you and stand in the gap with you when the world is unsafe and invalidating. As you realize your truths, actualize your goals, transition from a "survive" to a "thrive" mindset, and accept all the parts of you more radically, I hope to unite with you along the way.
