After over 25 years working and living in rural and urban Alaska as a teacher, painter and counselor, I saw the need to offer counseling outside conventional settings. The Dome Arts house is a second home located in a quiet, historic neighborhood. It includes a playroom, working art studio, comfortable living room area, small kitchen and sunny, peaceful backyard with garden. I am dedicated to creating and maintaining an atmosphere which encourages reflection, healing and growth.
Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S) specializing in Attachment-based and Trauma-informed Child-Centered Play & Expressive Arts Therapy. Though most my work is with children 4 - 12 and caregivers, I am committed to increasing informed Play & Expressive Arts Therapy practices for all ages in Alaska and worldwide.
