The more we understand why we feel or behave in specific ways, the easier it is to change those emotions and behaviors. Understanding the brain helps in regulating our emotions. My clients develop skills to help regulate. When you participate in your own healing and growth, you create a toolbox of a variety of therapeutic processes you can use on your own.
I view my role as an educator, coach and supporter when I work with clients. I deeply respect each person's journey. Trust, compassion, and acceptance are crucial factors of relationships.
