About
I am a Licensed Social Worker specializing in working with teens and adults experiencing issues around anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual identity, relationships, life stage transitions, self-esteem, phobias, and more. I recognize the difficulty in changing patterns and behaviors that are no longer serving you and I believe the therapeutic relationship is key in creating desired changes. I place a great deal of importance on examining macro factors that may be impacting behaviors and emotions instead of blaming you for acting or feeling certain ways.
I have experience working in college counseling and I've helped clients work through many of the challenges that college can impose. This work has been instrumental in informing my practice with both teens and adults. My goal is to help you achieve your goals for coming to therapy.
I know how challenging it can be to reach out for help, especially when it feels like nobody can help you, but I want to congratulate you on taking the first step. I will work with you to not only instill a greater sense of hope, but to also create concrete change in your life.
