If you’re looking for therapy, there is a possibility that you've been experiencing the pain and challenges that come with being human – likely more than the joy and fulfillment that also come with life experiences. Together, we'll work on understanding your pain and challenges so that we can identify solutions and ultimately help you find relief. As your therapist, I will help you engage in curiosity over the multidimensional nature of your experiences – including exploration of issues related to race, gender, sexuality, disability, and class. You may find exploration of these issues integral to understanding your experiences.
In our initial sessions, we will focus on getting to know each other better and co-creating an environment that feels safe. As we work together, we'll begin to explore and notice how your life experiences have impacted the way that you engage with others, the world, and your challenges.
I believe that an authentic and intimate therapeutic relationship can help clients facilitate the growth that they would like to observe in themselves. As such, I work to create a safe environment in which we can explore your internal and interpersonal worlds. Together, we'll create a space in which you feel heard and seen.
