I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a private practice located in McLean, Virginia. I provide individual therapy, family therapy and parent coaching sessions to clients of all ages dealing with a variety of issues. Often clients come to therapy to process feelings related to anxiety, depression, strained relationships, crisis, trauma, self-esteem and conflict. I work from an evidence-based approach in order to create an individualized treatment plan for each client and family. I utilize a myriad of models dependent on the therapeutic circumstances and incorporate elements of relevant neuroscience and mindfulness.
During the therapeutic process, we will work together to identify problematic behaviors, thoughts and emotions that you would like to shift. We will also work on specific tools and and interventions that will help you achieve the goals you have identified. As your therapist, I will listen empathically, provide psychoeducation and uphold ethical standards.
I have extensive experience working with adolescents and their families. I operate through a systemic lens and value working with entire families to help each member feel heard. I strive to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere where all clients feel comfortable. Therapy is rewarding but can feel difficult to initiate, so please do not hesitate to connect!
