I'm a clinical psychologist who's been in practice over 30 years. I currently work with children 3 years old to 11 years old, skip adolescence, and work with individual adults challenged by issues such as anxiety, depression, divorce adjustment and grief and loss. My original area of specialty was with pre-schoolers and young children up to 11 years old. I utilize techniques of play therapy, including sandbox therapy and mutual storytelling. My work with children, of course, includes parent guidance. Techniques with adults include: psychodynamic psychotherapy and mindfulness.
My approach is client-centered. I usually meet weekly to get started and then meet as frequently as people want/need. This can been weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or per required need. It's really up to each individual.
I'm available for telehealth AND in person appointments at this time. I will NOT be able to take new child patients until September 1, 2023. I can see new patients by telehealth only from mid-July to Sept 4, at which time I'll be available for telehealth AND in person.
