My intention for you is to gently but dynamically create opportunities for growth and healing through flexible and creative alternatives to break through old patterns. I like to collaborate with motivated clients who are willing to work to change their lives. My goal is to help you discover your own solutions to your problems and concerns in an environment that is welcoming, empathetic and non-judgmental. I do that by carefully attending to your thoughts and feelings. Although I will offer specific "interventions" I believe that change occurs during therapy when there is strong motivation combined with the quality of our connection.

I include a blend of conventional and alternative approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what would be most helpful for each client and family. These approaches include drama/play therapy, psychodrama, art, guided imagery and sand tray.

Separation/Divorce Support Group
The ending of an important relationship can leave us feeling depressed and lonely. Embarking on a new life can feel overwhelming. In this 8 week group in a safe and supportive environment we explore unresolved feelings through a variety of traditional and expressive techniques which allows members to identify inherent strengths and new coping strategies. The goal and focus of this group is to encourage group members to reconnect to a stronger sense of life purpose. This is an ongoing group. Please contact Robin for more information.
