I have provided mental health services since 2004 and have worked in a variety of mental health settings such as: psychiatric hospitals, corrections facilities, residential treatment, and private practice. At my current private practice, I provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy for children, teens, and adults in the Charlotte area. My specializations include: individual issues related to anxiety, crossdressing, depression, grief & loss, stress management, and trauma; couple & marital issues related to communication, infidelity, and co-parenting; and play & filial therapy for children and their families.

My goal as a therapist is to help adults, adolescents, children and families to improve their quality of life and relationships with one another. I work with individuals to find healing and peace in times of crisis, confusion, and stress. Additional services that I offer are parental coaching and school advocating/consulting. I am available to attend 504, IEP, and intervention team meetings to help families through the often arduous intervention and accommodation process. My strength is creating a safe, positive, space for adults, teens, kids, and families to open up authentically and make the changes necessary for happiness.

I am passionate about improving the lives of children and their families by collaborating with parents and children to help them meet their goals. I work with children of all ages to address difficulties including anxiety, ADHD, OCD, depression, anger management, school difficulties, social skills, and behavioral problems. In order to help clients achieve clarity about their strengths and challenges, I specialize in comprehensive evaluations for children from birth through adolescence.
