I help my patients understand how our past experiences can keep us from moving forward in life and in our most important relationships: partners, children, other family, work, friends, finances, etc. I value collaboration in identifying what you would like to change in your life, and most importantly, fostering insight of how things have come to be so that you can feel empowered in using your strengths to make sustainable changes toward the life you want to live.
I am a lecturer in Harvard's Medical School and previously worked at Harvard University's Health Services. I've been a featured contributor to Boston.com and other media, TV, Radio, and work with issues including depression, anxiety, body-image concerns, international/cultural adjustment, dating and relationships, and attachment.
I'm an interactive, challenging yet warm, supportive presence with a sense of humor that helps people feel at ease. I encourage feedback to ensure you're getting what you need from psychotherapy. Email me to discuss the possibility of working together.
