Hello, my name is Jaquita Shorts. I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist whose passion is to help strengthen families and individuals who are facing life changing events/issues by facilitating and promoting personal growth, individuality, and family unity. I have 9 years of clinical experiences that comprises of individual, couples, and family therapy which include life/personal/family skills training, trauma focused therapy, grief and loss, stress management, etc. I offer both individual and family counseling for those who may experience depression, anxiety-related issues, trauma, and other life altering events.

I typically work with individuals with various diagnoses, couples struggling with marital issues and families navigating divorce, blended families, co-parenting, grief, insomnia, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and OCD. I have an interest in working with substance misuse, and all types of addiction, including gambling and increasingly common tech porn.

Dr. Hoskins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the founder of PEACE. She is a two time graduate from Georgia State University and also graduated from Walden University with her PhD in clinical social work with an expertise in forensics. She has held positions as forensic liaison in Fulton County, GA, social work supervisor, clinical director, volunteer coordinator, veterans department director, and professor at Walden University.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, bringing a wealth of experience in offering guidance to individuals, families, and couples through the perspective of Christian counseling. In my practice, I assist individuals in developing coping strategies to navigate their emotions, emphasizing an understanding of their God-given temperament and empowering them to make decisions aligned with their faith.

I am a compassionate and experienced psychotherapist specializing in individual, family, and psychotherapy. With a deep understanding of the complexities of the human mind and a genuine desire to help others, I create a safe and supportive environment for my clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
