I typically work with individuals with various diagnoses, couples struggling with marital issues and families navigating divorce, blended families, co-parenting, grief, insomnia, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and OCD. I am well-suited, competent, and clinically trained in a variety of treatment approaches including but not limited to CBT, Trauma, attachment injury, internal family systems, DBT, and childhood trauma. I have an interest in working with substance misuse, and all types of addiction, including gambling and increasingly common tech porn.

I work with individuals, couples, teens, and families who are experiencing a variety of clinical concerns. Areas of focus include depression, anxiety, burnout, self concept, conflict, infidelity, life transitions, and family issues.

We’ve all faced painful and challenging situations in life. Constant struggles, relationship issues, coping with parenting challenges, guilt, dealing with memories we wish we didn’t have. I value supporting individuals through these life transitions and take into account the cultural and individual differences in a client’s circumstance. I see therapy as an opportunity to work toward growth, self-discovery and healing.

My theoretical orientation is Solution Based Therapy from an approach of systemic perspective. I believe that this is an umbrella from which other strategies and techniques can be implemented. This theoretical orientation affords individuals, couples and families a comfortable, and congruent environment to be assured an empathetic, authentic, and non-anxious presence in session.

Dr. Nicckay Natson is the Executive Director and Founder of Rejuvenation Counseling Coaching & Consulting LLC. Dr. Nicckay is a Licensed Clinical Christian Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Christian Therapist and Licensed Clinical Christian Marriage and Family Therapist a Licensed and Ordained Minister, Certified Life Coach, Certified Mentor and Certified Marriage Mentor. She is also a Certified Symbis facilitator. She has been a therapist/therapist supervisor/behavior analyst for over 18 years combined in the secular arena before she decided to start a Christian Counseling Practice to help those that are in need.

I will always offer practical recommendations & explanations for what I recommend. Educating you is vital to your ongoing quality of life. You will receive honest, supportive, & sometimes humorous options. Some counseling services will treat symptoms. I will address the core causes behind the symptoms. However, you always will maintain control of the topics discussed & you will always be respected for the decisions you make.

Shannon is a Licensed Professional Counselor in multiple settings. He has extensive experience with multiple age groups, genders and nationalities. Shannon maintains critical and creative thinking skills essential to counseling and therapy. He is inventive in the implementation of new ideas and or initiatives, with a focus on client interaction. Shannon has worked in a Home for troubled youth, a Church youth counselor for over five years, as well with the elementary, teen, adult, elderly, disabled, and substance abuse populations. Shannon is a strong communicator, listener and motivator. Shannon considers helping others his "passion and gift".
