I am a licensed psychologist who provides comprehensive psychological assessments to address possible learning disorders, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, processing deficits, and emotional/behavioral issues. Additionally, I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, behavioral issues, OCD/panic, and marriage/family issues. I see clients across the lifespan, and provide individual, couples and family therapy. I received my PhD at the University of Georgia, and completed a two-year fellowship in psychology at the Yale Child Study Center.
I specialize in diagnosis/treatment of learning disorders, dyslexia, autism, ADHD, depression and anxiety disorders. I enjoy assessments where I help solve how to best assist students who are struggling academically. Therapeutically, I provide scientifically supported therapy techniques designed to meet each client and family's specialized needs.
My treatment perspective incorporates cognitive-behavioral (CBT), dialectal behavioral therapy (DBT) and person-centered approaches. My hope is to produce lasting change and arm individuals and couples with a toolbox of approaches to cope in healthy ways, manage stressors, and rise to challenges as they present themself.
