About
I believe that in order for individuals to experience an extraordinary life (a life filled with peace, love, joy, and purpose) they must learn how to heal, protect, and strengthen all three parts of themselves - the mind, the body, and the spirit. I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy with Christian, biblical principles to address a complexity of issues within an individual, family, couple, or group that may be preventing them from experiencing physical, mental, and spiritual wholeness. Also, my husband, Adewale Disu, a Certified Life Coach, provides life coaching services to men.
I specialize in women’s mental health and enjoy helping women who may be experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship issues, work-life balance issues, life transitions, and spiritual warfare. I also have a specialty in children's mental health (ages 10 - 17) and pre-marital and marital counseling.
Awakening Counseling & Coaching Inc. is a multidisciplinary group practice that offers specialized mental health counseling services for children (ages 5-17), adults, couples, families, christian counseling services, and life coaching services.
