I focus on children's mental health and family resilience. I enjoy working with families across the family life span who are facing parenting challenges, child or adolescent mental health disorders or symptoms, family conflict, academic struggles, transition through adolescence, life transitions, and more. I see my role as a facilitator to support the change parents and families seek as they live and grow together. Through educating, equipping and empowering you and your child/children with specific tools, I can promote stabilization, sustained recovery, resilience, and hope.
I am trained to work with children, adolescents, young adults, families, and parents of all backgrounds. I have specialized training in parenting, child development, child and adolescent mental health disorders, and family dynamics. I am a certified family life educator and a development specialist. I am only seeing children and families currently.
As a parent, an educator, an advocate, a therapist, and a researcher, I understand mental health from every angle, and most importantly from the context of the systems we live in - like our family.
