Hello, my name is Dion Smith, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I focus on individuals and couples who are dealing with the everyday struggles of life. I strive to create a warm and collaborative approach to meet individual Client needs. My therapeutic approach is best described as eclectic to assist with meeting various client needs. I have a background in cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered focus therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy.
I work with individuals from teens to the elderly and couples. I work with anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, relationship issues, trauma, and life coaching. My goal is to assist my clients with developing the skills to navigate and overcome the various life challenges with we all face.
My approach to goal setting is to work together to determine the best path forward. We will spend time sharing about your background and core issues to help with setting appropriate and achievable goals in our therapy sessions.
