I believe that we are resilient beings with full capacity to achieve meaningful lives. My role in therapy is to guide my clients towards cultivating what is best in them, uncovering their existing resources as their foundation and acquiring additional skills to reach their goals. I help my clients heal from traumatic experiences and overcome depression and anxiety to become better adjusted individuals. Over the years, I gained experience working with a diverse group of clienteles ranging in age, ethnicity and diagnoses. I spent numerous years treating clients suffering from severe emotional and behavioral disturbances. I also provided individual and group therapy for adults dually diagnosed with mood disorders and addiction.
In addition to private practice, I work as a consultant at several Skilled Nursing Facilities and Rehabilitation Centers treating adults and elderly with chronic mental illness, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, and Dementia. I provide therapy in English and Turkish. I offer culturally responsive therapy for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
