Welcome! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor in Florida with over 10 years of experience working as a psychotherapist and qualified mental health professional. I have worked with clients with a wide range of presenting problems and concerns including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, family conflicts/dynamics, parenting-related issues, self-esteem, trauma-related symptoms, OCD, DMDD, ODD, ADHD and tics. My counseling style is attentive, respectful, empathetic and person-centered.
My clinical approach is integrative eclectic therapy, which combines a variety of modalities and techniques (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, CBIT, etc.) to best fit your needs. Grounded in dialogue, I will make it a priority to ensure and display unconditional positive regard in an objective, neutral, and nonjudgmental manner.
We demonstrate resilience by expanding our understanding and challenging irrational thoughts that influence our emotions. Together, we will aim to improve symptoms and overcome life's obstacles through self-awareness, discernment and reassurance. I believe supportive psychotherapy in conjunction with psycho-education can be life-changing and life-saving.
