I am acutely aware of how many people are suffering deeply now – people who are strong, intelligent, and creative, and yet find themselves struggling within their lives and disbelieving in themselves. Many of our psychological and emotional problems have been worsened over time by systemic and political practices, policies and institutions which also affect us spiritually. Because these systems aren’t self-aware, they don’t change quickly, and since they are part of the cause of our problems, they can’t help us heal. I listen to understand how to heal.
I know we can heal inside and out, sometimes quickly, and we can learn to reject the rampant nonsense that we’ve been fed for so long, especially about emotions, as we access our naturally healthy and joyful Selves. I have trained with Jean Houston, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Bessel van der Kolk, and Joan Borysenko, among others.
I employ many great tools that are easily taught and used by my clients. We are a team, not a hierarchy where I’m “the doctor” and you’re “the patient”. You are the expert on You and you train me in your needs and processes; I listen deeply and know many things that can help you create your healing as you are ready. We'll find out what works for you.
