I have been helping individuals, couples, and families resolve interpersonal and intrapsychic issues for more than 30 years. In addition to maintaining a full time private practice in New York City, I am on the faculty, a training analyst, and a senior supervisor at the Institute of the Postgraduate Psychoanalytic Society and a supervisor at the Postgraduate Institute Group Training Program. I am a former co-director of training for The Center for Anorexia and Bulimia.
I have written and presented papers on the Psychological Significance of Money and on anorexia. bulimia, and compulsive eating. In addition, I have developed a specialty in working with couples, both marital and premarital.
I am a former corresponding secretary of the Postgraduate Psychoanalytic Society and I am presently serving on the Board of Directors and the executive committee of that institute. I am a member of the International Federation of Psychoanalytic Societies, as well as former Education Chairperson for the New York State Society for Clinical Social Work.
