Hi! I'm Dianne Dabney and I am a License Professional Counselor. My approach is challenging and changing a client's thought patterns. My focus is on providing effective tools to help my clients manage their concerns. I am compassionate yet assertive. I work hard to create a safe and relaxing environment in which people feel comfortable enough to share their story. I make sure to let my clients know that they can talk to me about anything. I do my best to ensure that they understand that I truly care for them.
Once the client feels comfortable and feels safe talking, goal setting is discussed. This is done in the first session. After information is gathered in the first session, part of the treatment plan that I offer will have goals and objectives to reach those set goals.
I believe being a therapist is my life's calling. I have always been someone who enjoys helping people with their problems. I don't just see counseling as work I see it as my assignment from God. My client should expect to feel heard with empathy. They should expect a warm and friendly environment.
