About
My work is based in Cognitive-Behavioral psychotherapy, with a wide variety of experiential techniques tailored to the needs of individual clients. I infuse this work with Mindfulness concepts and practices when appropriate to the client's needs. I enjoy my work tremendously, and have a very strong belief that anyone can learn to be comfortable in their own skin, and create a meaningful and fulfilling life for themselves.
Psychotherapy is a invaluable experience, whether you are dealing with a mental illness, stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, or personal growth. Everyone can learn to live happily and productively. Your counseling experience will be challenging, exciting, and, ultimately, personally rewarding.
I work with a very diverse population -- including male, female, gay, straight, late adolescence to old age, and more; and a variety of ethnic and culturally different people. I offer individual, group, and couples/relationship counseling. I have also been teaching college psychology classes for more than 20 years.
