As a psychotherapist, I believe that each of us holds the capacity to utilize our personal creativity to resolve life's challenges. I seek to assist the folks I work with to find their strengths. I utilize a number of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, EMDR, Ericksonian Hypnosis, and elements of Internal Family Systems and psychological astrology. Upon the initial therapy session, we will work together to determine the most beneficial modality for you, your family, or your child. In addition, I may suggest expressive arts as a vehicle to create life changes.
Throughout my 30 years of practice, I have gained much experience in working with issues unique to children, adults, families and couples, such as mood disorders, anxiety, grief, loss, conflict, identity, and stage of life issues. In addition to in office sessions, I am currently offering live video sessions using the VSee platform (HIPPA compliant).
Sometimes life brings us opportunities to see ourselves more clearly through that with which we struggle. If we can look at our experiences as powerful teachers, then the struggles become a reflection of our greatest potential to learn.
