About
I was born and raised in Austin, TX and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology from St. Edward’s University and completed my Master’s in Social Work with a focus in Advanced Clinical Social Work at Walden University. I have gained clinical experience in inpatient and outpatient settings during my 5 year tenure at Austin Oaks Hospital. I have experience working with clients ages 4 and up; treating suicidal ideation, psychosis, homicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, and trauma.
I have experience facilitating both CBT and DBT groups, I have been trained in providing trauma-informed care and I am EMDR-Trained. In my free time I enjoy hanging out with my family, playing video games with my little brother, playing basketball, baking cookies, and eating chicken. I like to make people laugh and enjoy a good Disney movie.
I use a strength-based approach and assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, practicing boundary-setting, and identifying realistic goals that promote growth and wellbeing. Let's walk together on your mental health journey and find your safe, calm place.
